It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

and thanks to Jenn's link, we know that it is a mere 70 days away. Have you started your Christmas projects yet? Need some help? We have these great kits available to order through the store. Have you seen them? No??? Perhaps you've just walked by them on the way out of the store and didn't realize that you, too, could create these projects. Let me show them to you.

First, the shot of the whole kit and kaboodle of them ... presenting Santa's Workshop!

Kit One is a Snowday Paper Bag Album. This kit comes with the bags and all the paper and stickers to create a really cute winter album.

Kit Two is the Cherish These Moments Canvas kit from Quick Quotes. Done up in brown tones it is a great wall hanging to display some of your family history, or special events from the recent past.
Kit Three will have you creating a set of six cards using the Fancy line from Fancy Pants. Lori has again created an adorable set of cards that you will be able to duplicate using this kit.Kit Four is a beautiful set of Butterfly Candle Holders. These glass holders can be used all year round, decorating your living room, bathroom, bedroom, the choices are yours to make (and so are the holders). This set of three holders are created using Peel Off Stickers and Sakura Glaze pens.Kit Five also makes use of the Peel Off stickers, but this time you have to do some cutting out as well. Colour them up using the Sakura Metallic pens, then cut and layer the stickers to create a three-dimensional ornament. You will also receive the instructions for creating a gift bag for giving these ornaments in. The gift bag makes use of left over stickers and the negative pieces of the sticker sheets as decoration. With Kit Six you will create a set of six Pine Cone Ornaments. These ornaments feature folded pieces of paper to create the pine cone effect. The final project is the Winter Wishes Gift Tin. Lori has created a great teacher gift with this snowman tin. Using Dream street paper, you will cover the tin and then fill it with a mug, hot chocolate and maybe some homemade treats for a teacher or other special person on your list.

Don't these look GREAT?!?!?!? The thing is, though, that if you want any of them you NEED to have your order in by closing time this Saturday, October 18 . (Conveniently, this is the day of our yard sale.) We need to have time to put the kits together so they are ready for you by November 22. On that day, you have the option of picking up the kits and taking them home to work on them, or stay here for our Workshop day, where we can guide you if you are having trouble or you can just coast through the projects you've purchased with people who want to spend a Saturday working on Christmas scrapping stuff.

I mentioned the yard sale above. Don't forget that we have that event going on in-store this Saturday from 9-3. Bring cash (cash sales only for the yard sale). We'll have the crop room converted to the yard sale area. The items are already rolling in and there will be quite the selection, so be ready to shop early. You will have to be patient, though, as we will need to take the tags off of each item as it is rung in. The prices will make it worth the wait, though.

I think I've rambled enough for now. Off to sort more yard sale items (or maybe actually get some new product up on the website).
